Design Hive team members Richard, Peter, Mark and Phil competed in the Windsor Half Marathon 2014 – 13 miles through the Great Park and Crown Estate on a particularly hot and sunny September Sunday.
Many thanks to those who sponsored us. We smashed our £500.00 target and raised a whopping £1105.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support! Macmillan improves so many lives, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support whilst pushing for better cancer care.
As the whole country celebrates The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company thought it would be a great idea to encourage thousands of school children to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables in patriotic red, white and blue colours. Design Hive Ltd were involved in the branding and promotion material for this great project.
Pupils from more than 150 schools, stretching from Aberdeen to Torquay, have participated in the growing experience and thoroughly enjoyed growing plants from seeds, seedlings, bulbs and plugs to flowering and harvest. These Miracle-Gro’wers have created beautiful, productive plants that are sure to delight the Chelsea Flower Show 2012 audience of thousands of avid gardeners. We hope that Her Majesty The Queen will be equally impressed!
Visit LoveTheGarden.com for pictures, advice and up to the minute stories about the Miracle-Gro schools growing activity.
Update: both the Miracle-Gro’wers gardens received the prestigious RHS Silver Medal at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. Well done to all!
Congratulations go out to Beryl and Eddie for tying the knot on New Years Eve 2010. The Wedding was a well planned affair in St Mary’s Church, Ash Vale followed by an evening reception at the Tithe Barn, Loseley House, Godalming. The day was attended by friends and family enjoying the celebrations with the evening drawing to a close with a rendition of that time honoured classic Auld Lang Syne to see in the New Year. We wish them both every happiness in their life together.
Design Hive Ltd are very proud to be celebrating 20 years in business and we would like to say a very big thank you to all of our clients and suppliers who have been instrumental in our success. To mark the occasion we have created an interesting 2011 desk calendar for you, in which we’ve done a ‘Where’s Wally’ and craftily hidden our logo within each monthly image – but can you spot them (some are easier than to find than others)?
2011 calendars are available to all our clients and should be with you by Christmas. There will also be a limited stock available from our offices, so if you require extra copies, or didn’t receive yours in the post, please don’t hesitate to contact us (available whilst stocks last).
